Congratulations to the Councillors Convery, O’Halloran and Perry on winning the election in Caledonian Ward.
Ward turnout was 37%, Council official result page is here.
Thanks also to those who stood, but were unsuccessful – it’s important that people stand instead of just sitting at home moaning about things.

Congratulations from me too, I live in Kings Cross Road on the Camden side of the road, we also worked hard, don’t know the results yet.
Congratulations to all candidates, as well as to the winners, from me too! The downside of the result, borough-wide, is that Islington has become a ‘one party state’: all seats on the Council, bar one (Green Party) taken by the Labour candidates. This is not boding well for democracy – I know a thing or two about one party states, being myself a political refugee from Romania in the early ’70s – and we will have a harder time standing up for our residents’ rights, from the sidelines.
