We took a bit of a break before and after Xmas – life just got too busy with work, winter colds, family etc – but we are back now in 2014. Happy New Year.

Very good to have you back – we all missed you….

PS: Apologies for this system jumping to conclusions and linking my personal message to another WordPress website (which – it’s true – has had a connection with the e-mail address from which I sent that message).
I object to systems and sites that try to keep track of users and make correlations in that way – especially as I would never dream of putting a message on a website without openly saying who I really am and what my contact details are … for the sake of the humans reading it. But I don’t see any reason why the underlying computer system needs to “know” that.
The fact that, on many websites, people seem happy to tell computer corporations who they are, yet hide their identity from the people they’re communicating with, has always seemed to me to be back to front, and I always do my best to ensure the opposite.
