If you like a bit of acoustic strumming rather than electric blaring (and who doesn’t ?) then check out The Harrison on Sunday evening (30th Sept) from about 7:30. Hopefully five acts playing Blues, Folk Rock and Country. The big bonus is that there are no drums, which is a blessing for a small venue. I haven’t been to this one before – but the pub looks good in the pics (not at all what you would expect from the outside) gets a good write up here and the Uphill Acoustic Sessions web page here is promising . The Harrison is nice gastro pub – quite hidden away on Harrison St. Used to pass it on my way to work, but haven’t been there for a while, though. They have a website with directions etc http://www.harrisonbar.co.uk
